Dear Customers, please be advised that there are a few scams that are targetting our social media channels.

Please do not respond to competitions/offers that are published as posts by followers on our Social Media pages such as Facebook or Instagram.  If MY SPAR didn't post it then it is not a legitimate communication from SPAR. 

THE MY SPAR  AUTHOR WITH A BLUE TICK VERIFIES THAT THEY ARE THE OFFICIAL SPOKESPERSON FOR THE SPAR FACEBOOK PAGE. 
 

How to Check if an Offer/Competition is Fake

 Did you see references to this specific competition or offer in store or on the official SPAR website? If you don't find it on any of the regular SPAR communication channels, it is a scam. 

Do you need to supply your banking details or pay any money?  Don’t do it! SPAR will never ask for money or banking details.  The official SPAR 2U app or in-store is the only way to purchase anything from SPAR. Anything else is a scam.
 

How to Check if a Job Offer is Fake

 
Did you see references to this job on the official PNET SPAR portal? If you don't find it on the SPAR web site, it is a scam.
SPAR or its official recruitment partners will never request money for a uniform, a credit check or to have a CV created. Anyone who does is a scam.
